Brief Job Description

Job Summary:

The Service Manager is tasked with assisting the Food & Beverage Director and the Executive Chef with the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department. This position requires an individual who is neat in appearance and is personable, warm, and cheerful, with great memory for faces and names. It requires an individual who is extremely hands-on, organized, clean, dedicated and energetic. Provides supervision to the staff and maintaining the highest service standards, while ensuring satisfaction of members and guests, and at the same time maximizing revenues and reducing costs. Duties & Responsibilities:

· Provides exceptional service to members and guests in all areas of the club
· Assists in recruitment, training, supervision and disciplining of staff
· Be able to fill in as server, bartender, or any other position to complete a void
· Assists in inventory control and monthly inventories
· Stay in constant communication with Members and Guests in to ensure positive dining experience
· Manages reservations and any communications required to Members and Guests related to food & beverage
· Ensures that all members, guests, and co-workers are treated in a friendly, respectful, and fair manner
· Complete oversight of all servers, bartenders, hosts, beverage carts, and pool staff to ensure they are using proper service techniques and are knowledgeable in our products.
· Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
· Stable work history
· Completes all other relevant job duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience in food and beverage service, with at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
