Are you an eager individual looking to grow your career in Human Resources?

Kenwood Country Club is actively looking for a Recruiting Specialist. You will be responsible for screening, interviewing and placing workers, as well as keeping up to date on local hiring laws and regulations. You will be responsible for assessing skills, experience, and qualifications of potential job applicants.

Daily Job Duties of HR Recruiting Specialists

  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Screening resumes
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Administering appropriate company assessments
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to company hiring managers
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Assist with the administration of seasonal hiring.
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Schedule and conduct newly hired and re-hired employee on-boarding process, to include completion of employment forms, reviewing Employee Handbook information
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Completing timely reports on employment activity
  • Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); working knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher helpful
  • A high level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of securing and maintaining confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Related experience with human resources and payroll management a must
