Shannopin All Natural - By using all natural ingredients from our own back yard, we are able to provide a blend of healthy, tasty dishes that not only provide health benefits, but also add aesthetic appeal.

Implementation

Eric Wygant, Shannopin's Grounds Superintendent, first came up with the idea of implementing Bee's Hives on the course to create additional Pollination. He took the proper classes and obtained everything necessary to take care of the Bees. The Bees ended up providing an abundance of Fresh natural Honey...which was then professionally packaged and is sold every year. Eric Wygant also started harvesting our very own maple syrup from the trees surrounding the course. This syrup adds additional flavor to specialty drinks as well as is used for breakfast any accompaniments throughout the year. Executive Chef, Nick Senske, has taken the honey and maple syrup and added another fresh, all natural item to the menu; Micro-greens. Chef grows as variety of greens in-house and uses them to provide a healthy dish as well as add intense flavor and aesthetic appeal.
