Wildlife Discovery Day

Description

One of our goals is to encourage lifelong learning and education. With the help of our local Holiday Lake 4-H Club, Farmington's younger members experienced a hands-on, safe, and fun class with some of nature's coolest creatures.

Implementation

We advertised the event and had members sign up online. On the day of the event, Holiday Lake 4-H brought a variety of reptiles for the kids and parents to see up close and personal. We provided a craft for the kids to do while they waited for the event to start. During and after the educational session, children were able to touch and hold the animals.
