Registration & Hotel FAQs

In 2025, CMAA tested a registration process requiring individual review, thus leading to a delay in receiving a confirmation email. After collecting feedback from our members and attendees, we have removed this functionality for 2026.

All successful registrations will receive an automatic email confirmation that will contain official information, including your link to book your hotel reservation. Please save this email as your receipt; the links within it can be used to make changes to your registration including adding additional tickets, workshops, etc. Please check your spam filter if you do not receive your confirmation.

Anaheim, CA, has a campus atmosphere with the Convention Center conveniently located within short walking distance of multiple hotels including most major brands. CMAA has contracted with multiple properties from which attendees can choose. Daily programming and evening events will occur at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Marriott.

CMAA hotel reservation options will open in mid-October. After you complete your World Conference registration, your confirmation email will include a personalized link to book your hotel through the Passkey system. We encourage you to reserve your room as soon as you register to secure the best availability. While we do not anticipate rooms filling as quickly as they did for the 2025 World Conference in Tampa, FL, early booking is still recommended.

CMAA hotel reservation options will open in mid-October. Any emails you receive from third parties offering to book options for the 2026 World Conference are unauthorized and likely scammers. Unauthorized housing companies known as “housing poachers” might contact you and identify themselves as being affiliated with CMAA or the World Conference and Club Business Expo. Lured by highly attractive rates, exhibitors, and attendees fall prey to these imposters losing significant deposits, discovering hidden costs, up front charges, or being bait and switched to hotel rooms they never booked. CMAA has no affiliation with third-party hotel brokers and hotel reservations should only be made using the link provided when registration opens to ensure guaranteed reservations.

For any requests for suite booking, please contact Jayne Ayers, CMAA’s Director of Meetings & Events, at 703-739-9500.

CMAA offers multiple options for your significant other/spouse including a Significant Other—Full registration, a Significant Other—Basic Registration, and individual guest tickets. Please note that current CMAA members or individuals working in the club industry are prohibited from using these guest categories and cannot earn Education Credits. Check out the registration categories for more details.

To earn the most credits at Conference, follow these three steps:

  1. Register for a Full Member Registration. This registration category earns 12 Association Activity Credits, the most of any category.
  2. Attend all scheduled general and concurrent sessions of education and earn up to 20 Club Management Institute (CMI) Education Credits. Attendees can only receive Education Credits for one session during each concurrent time slot. Attending at least four education sessions satisfies your World Conference attendance requirement towards Certification.
