Shark Tank Competition

The Student Shark Tank competition is held annually, and the last round is held during CMAA's World Conference & Club Business Expo.

Is there a product/software/concept that you think the club industry could benefit from? Tell us how you see your creation improving or revolutionizing the club space for a chance to win $1,000!

We will begin accepting entries for the 2025 competition in the Fall.

Rounds & Categories

There are three rounds in the CMAA Shark Tank competition:

  • Round One: enter the competition by filling out the entry form and submitting a one-minute video (max) giving a brief overview of your idea. You may want to watch a couple episodes of Shark Tank to get a better idea of how to give your presentation.
  • Round Two: if selected to move on to this round, you will have up to five minutes to present your idea/concept to a panel of club managers (Sharks) via Zoom.
  • Round Three: the final round will take place at the World Conference and Club Business Expo in Las Vegas, NV. If selected, you will have up to five minutes to present your idea/concept to a panel of club managers (Sharks) and a LIVE CMAA audience! Please note, if selected for Round Three, you must be attending the 2024 World Conference to present. Virtual presentations are not permitted.
