Did You Know: CMAA has an Internship Program

Does your club hire interns or are you thinking of adding interns to your current seasonal staff? CMAA would like help.

Enter the Verified Internship Program (VIP), a great way to introduce students to club hospitality. Through internships, students can learn about a variety of departments within a club, hone their skills, all while charting a path for their future.

But internships are not just beneficial for those who are learning: These programs can create value for our industry and are essential to building a stronger talent pipeline for careers in club management.

CMAA has developed the VIP to elevate and streamline club internship offerings. Because clubs differ widely in their membership size, culture, and offerings, it may be difficult for students to know exactly what they can expect from their internship experience. This verified internship criteria helps manage the expectations of students, faculty, and managers, and showcases what a career in the club industry looks like.

If you are interested in becoming a VIP club for 2025, don’t hesitate! Apply today and help shape the future of our vibrant industry.
