Featured Strategy
It’s the Last Chance to Participate in the CMAA Governance and Policy Survey
This is your FINAL reminder to participate in the CMAA Governance and Policy Survey, a key initiative focused on understanding governance structures and policies within the private club industry.
This survey will take only 10-15 minutes of your time and will help with advancing the club industry. As club professionals, we all know how important governance and policy can be. The goal of the survey is focused on understanding governance structures and policies within the club industry. With the expertise of your GM/CEO/COO or CFO, your club will help club management professionals understand what governance and policy looks like within each club. This report will help future club managers navigate any challenges and build engagement with the Board.
Your insights will directly contribute to a comprehensive report prepared by Club Benchmarking, designed to help club leaders benchmark their governance practices and strengthen strategic decision-making. All responses will remain confidential.
The deadline for participation has been extended to Friday, February 13. Please submit only ONE submission per club. Your participation will help create a resource that benefits the entire club community.
If you have any questions, please contact us at research@clubbenchmarking.com.
Thank you for your time and commitment to advancing governance excellence in our industry.
Chapter Idea Fair Winner
Congratulations to the Carolinas Chapter, which won first place in the 2025 Chapter Idea Fair for its idea in the “Chapter Communications” category. See how they keep members informed by sending “Know Before You Go” emails prior to Chapter events.
Members are more likely to attend chapter socials, welcome drinks, emerging leader/yopro events, etc. because they know about them in advance.
