CMAA’s Mid-Management Conference began as a grassroots effort in 1991 by the Greater Chicago Chapter to provide quality educational and networking opportunities for club management professionals who do not serve in the general manager/chief operating officer role. Education is focused on developing new skills, broadening horizons, and advancing career and certification goals.

This year’s event will take place in St. Louis, MO, October 18-21. Attend and explore sessions on personal leadership, club trends, and career advancement.

CMAA Member Registration: $1,000
Non-Member Registration: $1,250

Credits: Attendance at all sessions qualifies for 12 CMI credits.

Registration includes all education and materials.

Registration Deadlines: Registration closes on October 8 at noon ET. While CMAA may accept registrations after this date in limited circumstances, accommodations cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional fees, availability, and event-specific restrictions.

8:45-10:15 a.m.	Three Habits of Consciously Intentional Leaders: Building Presence, Purpose, and Accountability Dan Irvin, M.A.Ed., Speaker, Leadership Development Consultant, and Facilitator/Trainer In this interactive opening session, attendees will explore the three core habits of consciously intentional leadership: leading yourself first, showing up with fulfilled focus, and modeling the standard. Through storytelling, reflection, and group discussion, participants will examine how intentional leadership behaviors directly shape team culture, communication, accountability, and performance within clubs.

Attendees will develop personalized implementation guides, participate in peer coaching exercises, and create a clear action plan to immediately apply within their clubs. Participants will leave with tangible strategies to strengthen leadership presence, elevate team engagement, and model the standards they expect from others.

Rate: CMAA has arranged for a special rate of $199 plus applicable taxes.

Reservations: Guests may reserve their accommodations online.

Deadline: The last day to book within the group block is October 1.

CMAA makes every effort to keep attendee expenses at the Mid-Management Conference including registration fees and accommodation rates for the event as economical as possible. We work diligently to negotiate the best hotel rates and to make the best use of your registration dollars to keep the Conference affordable and accessible.

CMAA encourages all participants to reserve a room at The Westin St. Louis; this supports not only the Conference, but also future meetings. While in some instances, less expensive accommodation may be available from third party online consolidators, booking within CMAA’s established block helps to underwrite the cost of meeting space and other hotel concessions. When commitments to our host property are not met, CMAA must pay penalties which will ultimately increase the cost of events.

Airport Options

St. Louis Lambert International Airport, is easily accessible for all attendees and serviced by most major airlines. The airport is roughly 15 miles from The Westin St. Louis, with several options for onward transportation.

Many attendees choose to extend the experience by traveling with a spouse, partner, family member, or guest. While guests are encouraged to enjoy the destination, CMAA program activities are reserved for registered attendees. This includes educational sessions, networking events, off-site experiences, meals, receptions, and group transportation. We appreciate your understanding as this policy helps maintain the intended learning and networking environment while ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by the individual whose name appears on the registration. To be valid, submit all requests to CMAA Registration. No refunds will be made after Thursday, September 17. CMAA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted; substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the event. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with the substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.
