Seven Student Chapters Awarded The Club Foundation’s Student Chapter Grant

Alexandria, VA—July 12, 2023—The Club Foundation announces the 2023 recipients of the Student Chapter Grant. This annual grant supports the professional development of students studying to pursue careers in the club industry—tying directly to the mission of The Club Foundation. Each Student Chapter will receive a complimentary registration to the 2024 Club Management Association of America (CMAA) World Conference and Business Expo for the Chapter President (or their representative) and a matching-funds grant to assist with related travel expenses.

The 2023 recipients are the CMAA Student Chapters at the following institutions:

  • East Carolina University (Greenville, NC)
  • Fairleigh Dickinson University (Teaneck, NJ)
  • Johnson and Wales University (Charlotte, NC)
  • Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI)
  • Niagara University (Niagara University, NY)
  • University of Delaware (Newark, DE)
  • University of Houston (Houston, TX)

“Providing substantial professional and career development opportunities to the next generation of club industry leaders is a priority for The Club Foundation, and a key part of our mission.,” said The Club Foundation’s and CMAA’s President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE. “We look forward to connecting with these student leaders and sharing all of the benefits of choosing a career in the club industry.”
