Register by August 25 for the 2025 Leadership/Legislative Conference & Boost Your Leadership IQ

Today’s CMAA leaders are navigating more change than ever before, with Chapters and clubs in a constant state of flux, due to board turnover, evolving member expectations, and new technology, among others. Yet few of these Leaders are equipped with the mindset and tools to lead through the internal process that real change requires.

Rebecca Wilson and Ty Moore, Co-Founders of VeraVis, will kick off the Leadership/ Legislative Conference, with Stay Ready: Boosting Leadership Efficacy Amid Change and Uncertainty

This interactive kickoff session will introduce a practical framework for understanding and navigating the three phases of transition—letting go, realigning, and beginning anew—while offering grounded strategies that CMAA Leaders can use to stay clear, calm, and effective in the face of uncertainty. Leave with tools to both enhance their personal ability to grapple with change and help others move forward with confidence during these critical moments.

Whether you are a CMAA rising star, a guiding light, or somewhere in between, there’s no event like the Leadership/Legislative Conference, September 14-16 in Washington, DC. Beyond the stellar education, it's a fantastic opportunity to make new connections in the industry. No leadership experience is required to attend by register is required by August 25.

Make a Smaller Donation Mean More

A small donation to The Club Foundation truly can make a difference.

While we rely on the generosity of thousands of members each year and there are many who make sizable gifts, many small contributions can add up to something remarkable. That impact grows even stronger when small gifts are set up as automatic, monthly donations.

The average American household spends approximately $42 per month on streaming services. Combining streaming, mobile phone, internet, and TV services, American households spend more than $260 per month, totaling more than $3,000 per year.

Think about all the discretionary things that we buy on a regular basis. Things like coffee shop visits can be pricey. Those no-whip white chocolate soy mochas with five pumps, an extra shot, and caramel drizzle really add up! Even with average drink choices, Americans can spend as much as $2,000 per year if they buy coffee every day. That’s enough to support a Second‑Place Chapter of the Year Award, providing vital educational funds at the Chapter level.

While we’re not suggesting that you give up your simple pleasures, just imagine how powerful a small percentage of those dollars could be when combined with the similar generosity from our entire club‑industry family.

If you haven’t donated this year, please consider donating today. If you already donate from time to time, consider making your contribution smaller but recurring—a subscription donation! Recurring donations give The Club Foundation steady, dependable funds that ensure we can continue to award scholarships and grants every year and fulfill our mission of supporting CMAA members just like you.

To set up a recurring gift, visit our donation page or fill out a pledge form today!

If you have questions regarding these scholarships or any other Foundation work, please complete the contact form or call us directly at 703-299-4284.
