Showcase Your Club’s Most Successful Ideas in the Idea Fair

The CMAA Idea Fair, presented at the 2024 World Conference and Club Business Expo, gives you the opportunity to showcase your innovative ideas. With 22 categories, we are sure that you have something to enter. All information including categories and entry instructions are now available. You simply submit your entries electronically and CMAA will print them for you!

This year there will be three overall award winners: the “Most Innovative Idea Award,” the “Showstopper Award,” and the “Chairman’s Award” that will be given out by the judging committee. Make sure your ideas stand out from the rest to be considered for these exciting awards!

Did You Know? Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship Awardees Announced

This year’s Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship awardees were notified in early October that they had been chosen by the Club Foundation Allocation Committee (CFAC) to receive one of this year’s awards. Congratulations to these nine amazing women who are excelling in our industry and will receive funding for a BMI course of their choice and accompanying travel funds:

Have questions about certain awards programs or need information about internships or conferences? Be sure to visit the Student Section of the CMAA website to learn more and maximize your membership.

Also available as a resource is your Manager of Student Development, Sumayah Arcusa. If you can’t find answers online or from your faculty advisor, Sumayah is always available to help. You can also access CMAA Connect and the Contemporary Club Management textbook by using your username and password when logging in to your account on cmaa.org.

Participate in the 2023 Finance & Operations Survey & Get the Data You Need

Data gathering for the 2023 Finance & Operations Survey is now underway, and we encourage you to support this important research through your club’s participation and get the data you need for informed decision making.

CMAA recently announced a collaboration with Club Benchmarking, a CMAA Business Partner, to power CMAA’s annual surveys.

All CMAA members submitting complete 2022 fiscal-year-end data prior to the November 10, 2023, deadline will receive:

  • A complimentary copy of the 2023 Finance & Operations Report for their club;
  • A Universal Key Club Performance Indicators Report; and
  • An invitation to schedule a Benchmark Review session with a Club Benchmarking analyst to review their club’s individual results.

Confidentiality of all data is guaranteed. Data will only be presented in an aggregated format.

In addition to overseeing data gathering and analysis, the Club Benchmarking Data Management Team is committed to providing full support to assist you with your data submissions. You’ll find instructions on the link below. Thank you in advance for your support!
